Paul Nash, director of Play2Support, handed over a cheque for £1020 to Prostate Cancer UK during a meeting of the North East Volunteer Hub at the Royal Station Hotel, Newcastle-upon-Tyne on Thursday 28th February 2019. The money was raised from fees and donations made during the two Play2Support golf competitions plus the sale of tickets for the competition raffle, all of which were held in 2018. In 2019 the target is to raise £3000 to support the work of the charity especially that being carried out at the Centre for Life and the Northern Institute for Cancer Research.
